βœ… Step 1: Download the Required Files

Download all the shared files from Google Drive and save them on your PC. For best results:

  • Save the Excel and Word files in the same folder (e.g., C:\ChequePrint)
  • Save the Excel add-in (NumbertoWord.xlam) in the Add-ins folder:
C:\Users\DELL\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns

βœ… Step 2: Enable the Excel Add-In (Number to Word)

  1. Open Excel.
  2. Go to File β†’ Options β†’ Add-ins.
  3. At the bottom, select Excel Add-ins and click Go.
  4. Click Browse, navigate to the location where you saved NumbertoWord.xlam, and select it.
  5. Check the box next to NumbertoWord and click OK.

This will allow you to use the function =NumberToWords() in your Excel file.

  3. Insert Merge Fields:
    • Use Insert Merge Field to place Name, Date, Amount, and AmountInWords into the cheque layout.
    • Align fields according to your cheque format.

βœ… Step 5: Preview and Print the Cheque

  1. Go to Mailings β†’ Preview Results to verify how the cheque will look.
  2. If everything looks correct, click Finish & Merge β†’ Print Documents.
  3. Select the cheques you want to print and send them to the printer.
